Deciding just what to make from this good stuff is always fun. The weather certainly affects my cooking – in last week’s cool weather, I made a wonderful roast and a following soup, which I’ll write about the -next- time we have a cool spell. In the dismally hot days that followed, I wanted a cool, crunchy salad, with complex and interesting flavors. Something different. Something I hadn’t had before.
I had a beautiful bunch of radishes, some wonderful greens, and one lonely nectarine left over from making Sangria. Then I saw a photo on one of my ‘grazing with my eyes’ sites: www.tastespotting.com - and this salad was the result.
